FAQ'S
(A) A student meeting the following criteria can apply:
– Competent, deserving & needy Jain student
– Maximum 30 years of age
– Course has identified and secured admission
– Pursuing for higher education in any discipline above HSC.
(A) A student has to apply FA online on www.jitojeap.in along with all
supporting documents including but not limited to following:
– Application form & KYC of student & parents
– All mark sheets since 10th standard
– Details of family members
– Birth certificate & school leaving certificate
– ITRs & Bank Statements of Parents
– 2 References with contact details
– Jain Minority Certificate
– Letter from local Sangh
– Confirmation of admission from university / college
– Status of VISA/Application if overseas
– Total cost estimate with supporting’s
– Letters of funds taken from other organisations / own funding showing total
means
– Agreement to be signed before fund transfer & PDCs, reference confirmation
shall be taken

(A) It will be depending on the course fee and also the country to which he is
planning, repayment capabilities, university he is selecting, and other detailed
criteria as framed by BOD from time to time.
(A) The repayment terms may vary depending on the education, but JEAP
expects students to start repayment of the FA amount on the completion of the course.
(A) There will be 0 % rate of interest to the students. This is an Interest free
financial assistance to the Student.
(A) It will be two level process by chapter and Apex committee with defined
turnaround time (TAT) at each level and overall time limit. A case can be
expedited by Apex committee if any delay happens at chapter level.
The entire process will be digitalised with the help of technology, but
physical interview and home visit might happen.
(A) No, there will be no processing charge or FA disbursement charges
(A) Yes, the funds should only be utilised only for payment of tuition fees and
living expenses as mentioned.
(A) Yes, student can apply by submitting all the details of past loan or existing
education loan.
(A) Yes. CIBIL /Bureau score might be considered while scrutinising the
application.
(A) According to our JEAP policy, we are not processing applications for
students intending to study in Canada.
(A) According to our JEAP policy, we do not provide financial assistance for
professional courses. Instead, we endorse courses and institutions accredited by
UGC or AICTE, or international universities ranked among the top 600 as per
the latest QS rankings. If you have inquiries about any other course, please send
us a mail personally.
(A) JEAP is not processing applications for foreign undergraduate students.
(A) Students can check status online and will receive the mail from JEAP once
the FA application is approved by JEAP.
(A) A student can apply only one time and if the funds are sanctioned for next
year then he/she should complete the formality of 2
nd year documents.
(A) No details will be shared with third party by JEAP.
(A) Yes, in that case, also student or his parents or co-applicant must repay
entire FA amount immediately to JEAP.
(A) JEAP will only make payment in Indian Rupees and in student’s account in
India.
(A) After fulfilment of all the conditions, and submission of all documents
online and physically to JEAP office FA will be disbursed by NEFT in the
student’s account only.
(A) Yes, you can make the repayment earlier than the FA tenure and close your
FA account.
(A) Yes, an applicant and his/her parents and/or guarantor are equally
responsible to make the repayment of FA.
(A) No, the extension is granted but if there is medical emergency student can
approach to committee by prior appointment with full documents and details.
(A) There is no deadline for applying under JEAP assistance program, but we
suggest applying 2 months before the starting of the course.
(A) If student fails to repay on time as per the agreement, then interest @12%
will be charged to the student from the due date.
(A) No, an applicant cannot register with different email ids nor is it possible to
change the email address once registered.
(A) The application form can ONLY be submitted online. You will be able to
access your application by logging in to your account.
(A) The required documents need to be uploaded online only for the application
to process further.
(A) Yes, you have the option of updating and changing the application form
until it is submitted.
(A) You will get an email that your application is approved by Apex Staff, after
that it will go to Chapter. Then Chapter will take interview on phone call with
Parents, Students or Both
